Rating:  - Superior product
I bought this to replace a cheap one I bought earlier via Amazon, and which I could never get to work properly with my Garmin GPS. This one does - perfectly. Highly recommended and worth the extra.
Rating: - True RS232 Emulator
I am a software developer, with my current project (EPOS System) needed to avoid the situation where a client uses a laptop without any rs232 port, bought few from ebay, none of them worked as claimed (wasted good hours), ordered this one from ABC came next day, installed the driver as described in the enclosed pdf file, connected my (own developed and made ) Display Pole and VVVWALAA recognised as COM10.

product arrived quickly. I used the driver disc but it didnt work. A phone call to supplier soon sorted me out as product is plug and play with windows vista. Supplier was very helpful and knowledgeable

Bought this for my Wacom which needed a serial port as my new PC came without one. The Adaptor was recognised in windows 7 pro and was assigned all the necessary priveleges. So there was no problem with the install. It even recognised the Wacom tablet after some jickery pokery on my side, unfortunately afer several different wacom drivers, restarts and manouverings on my side the wacom tablet failed to work. And Wacom are no longer supporting old serial tablets. So I can't use it but it was all going ... Read More
