Rating:  - Franklin TG-450 language translator
The vocabulary is very limited and, frustratingly, when translating from English to French, it does not give the gender of the French word which it is necessary to know in order to match with an adjective etc., therefore I still needed to use a paper dictionary. Maddening.
Rating:  - A disappointing piece of kit.
Bought this to avoid taking a phrase book and dictionary to France with us and to help us develop our French phrasing. The vocab is VERY basic, entering Good morning or Good day gives a "sorry cannot help" reply when asked to give the French, (surprisingly Bobjour in French translates back to English as Good Morning or Good Afternoon when it really should be good day!). Franklin TG-450 12 language translator Goods delivered in excellent condition - on time - what more could one ask?
Rating: - Not for me
I ordered the Franklin TG-450 12 Language Translator almost by mistake as it was not entirely what I wanted. When it arrived, well packaged, I could see that the keyboard was too small and the lid was rather flimsy. The hinges that held the lid would not (in my opinion) stand up to constant use, and could easily break, leaving the keypad exposed. Rating:  - Not as useful as we'd hoped
It was good at translating a few Italian words whilst on holiday in Sicily, but we couldn't find many of the ones we were looking for.
